The play takes place in a small village in Ireland. Hollywood has moved in to make a movie about the aristocracy and dispossessed Irish peasants. JAKE and CHARLIE are making money as extras on the set, together with most of the village. Their friend, SEAN HARKIN, is unable to stay away from the drink and the drugs to be an acceptable extra, and is fired. Tragedy follows. But there is an interesting turn of events at the end which reminds us all to follow our hearts and believe in ourselves.

These five young men are playing several roles each in this Showcase of their work over the past twelve weeks.   They have grown as actors over the past four years , having presented scenes from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Macbeth The Tempest and Hamlet; Picasso at the Lapin Agile by Steve Martin; Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead by Tom Stoppard; and several original plays. They frequent the ComedyCazi Improv Troupe in Davis Square each month, learning about stand-up and comic timing from these ‘awesome actors’.
