OUR MISSION

TC Squared offers a platform for writers to develop scripts from inception to completion through weekly workshops with PlayLab, Directors Lab, and collaborative readings before diverse audiences. Playwrights are encouraged to push artistic boundaries and to challenge important, controversial issues in service to their authentic voice.

OUR STORY

Artistic Director Rosalind Thomas-Clark was a founding faculty member at Boston Arts Academy from 1998. TC2 developed out of a need by Boston Arts Academy alumni to stay involved in their art form in a way that included high quality productions, community and diversity. We started in 2008 with 4 people around Ros’s kitchen table, and, today, with hundreds of local artists and educators working with TC Squared, we continue to produce socially relevant theatre-from script to stage. We provide mentorship, training, and paid opportunities to young artists often shut out of the industry.
